"HIGH- TECH ELECTRONIC ZONE" PROJECT

1. Project location

Zone B - Northwest Quan Hau Industrial Park (Vinh Ninh communes, Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh province)

Geographical location:

- North East: It borders Ho Chi Minh Road

- Northwest:  It borders the road into Quang Ninh's dumping ground

- Southwest: It borders the pine forest.

- Southeast: It borders the pine forest.

2. Objectives of project

- To develop chips manufacturing, photoelectronic cells used for solar and wind power devices; mobile components and communications, electronic assemble, mobile phone, TV new generation ...

To manufacture chips, solar cells, electronic devices for solar and wind energy; Mobile and Communication Components, electronics assemble, mobile phone, new generation TV

3. Scale of project

Total area: 120 hectares. Sub-functional zones include:

+  Electronic assembly zone includes the assembly shops and operational house

+ High-tech zone

+ Environmental treatment zone

+ The auxiliary services.

+ Commercial center

+ Center for human resource training and development

+ Rest area

4. Total estimated investment

At least VND 1,500 billion

5. Expected effectiveness of the project

- Bring high profits for investors.

- Create more jobs and improve living standards for laborers as well as contribute to the tax collection for the province.

6. Natural conditions and current situation

Transportation:

- The distance from the project area to the province's administrative center (Dong Hoi city) is 10 km.

- The project is near transportation system:

+ Ho Chi Minh road with 55m in width.

+ Railway: Located between 2 zones: A and B (planning region) near the north-south railway. Goods and passengers are transfered at the Le Ky railway station.

+ Dong Hoi Airport is about 15km and Hon La is about 60 km to the north

+ Next to main traffic routes, it is convenient for transporting goods, machines, equipment and materials.

+ Conditions of road system, electricity, water supply and communication: guaranteed

Land condition:

- Currently, the land area is covered with planted forests (pine and eucalyptus species) under the management of Dong Hoi State-owned Forest Enterprise, it is convenient for land withdrawal, site clearance and transfering land use right. There is no architectural works, factories and residential areas in the planned project area, therefore, there are no environmental effects on high-tech devices and electronics manufacturing projects.

- This area is not flood-prone.

- The soil is good and stable with high intensity.
