Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Hoang Dang Quang and Vice Chairpersons of the PCC presided over the session.

At the discussion session, the deputies agreed highly with the reports on operational results in 2017. Besides, the deputies also focused on issues related to difficulties in production and the output of agricultural products, rate of poor households, work of poverty reduction, risk for falling back into poverty; national target program on building new rural life.

In addition, the deputies also discussed on improving business and investment climate, expanding market, enhancing competivetiveness, promoting tourism, strengthening investment attraction, reducing interests for enterprises, creating jobs for laborers, etc.

On the behalf of the session's chairperson, Standing Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong spoke highly of the spirit of responsibility of deputies in contribution of their ideas to the 6th session.

Besides, the Provincial People's Committee was asked to direct the departments, branches and localities to collect ideas and have solutions to deal with difficulties, contributing to completing the plan on socio-economic and security and national defence development.

In the afternoon, on the behalf of the Provincial People's Committee, Standing Vice Chairman Nguyen Xuan Quang reported the results on implementing the conclusions adopted at the 5th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council.

Then, the Provincial Peopels' Council conducted a question and answer session. Representative of the Department of Labor - War Invalid and Social Affairs answered questions on poverty alleviation, policy of porverty reduction for ethnic minority people, shortcomings and solutions for the upcoming time, etc.

The question and answer session was continued on December 8th morning.
