Strengthen co-operation and information exchange in trans-border crime prevention and prosecution
The talk was attended by the senior leaders of the People's Court of Quang Binh province and Savannakhet
At the talk, the two sides informed each other of cooperation situation between the Quang Binh provincial People's Court and the Savannakhet provincal People's Court. In the first six months of 2017, the Quang Binh provincial People's Court received more than 1,500 cases, including solving over 1,000 cases, reached 65%.
From 2012 to now, two sides has strengthened cooperation and information exchange, shared experience, contributing to raising operational effectiveness in trans-border crime prevention and prosecution.
The two sides signed a Memmorandum of Understanding
Under the discussion and agreements on cooperation programme, the two sides inked a Memmorandum of Understanding.
Accordingly, the People's Court of the two provinces will strengthen cooperation, speed up propaganda, dissemination and education on law; raise awareness of people in border areas; timely exchange information relating to trans-border crime prevention and control; share experience in prosecution and judicial assistance in criminal field, contributing to strengthening friendly and cooperative relations between the two sides.
