Quang Binh Province continues tourism and investment promotion activities in the Czech Republic
(Quang Binh Portal) - Continuing tourism and investment promotion activities in the Czech Republic, on June 4, 2025 (local time), the Quang Binh Delegation participated in a seminar on connecting Vietnamese localities with the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic and held a working session with the Embassy of Vietnam in the Czech Republic.

Overview of the seminar
The Quang Binh delegation was led by Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Doan Ngoc Lam. The delegation also included Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Nguyen Cong Huan; Provincial Party Member, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy; and representatives of leaders from the Office of the Provincial People’s Committee, Department of Finance, and Department of Science and Technology.
Participants at the Seminar included Deputy Director General of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cultural Diplomacy - Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Dong Trung and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Viet Nam to the Czech Republic Duong Hoai Nam. From Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic, there were leaders of the Union of Vietnamese Associations in Europe, the Union of Vietnamese Associations in the Czech Republic, the Union of Vietnamese Business Associations in Europe, and various businesses and investors.

At the meeting, Mr. Doan Ngoc Lam presented Quang Binh’s potential, strengths, planning, sustainable green development strategies, priority investment sectors and projects, and policies to support and incentivize investment. He proposed that organizations, associations, and Vietnamese businesses in Europe collaborate with the province in investment promotion, networking with potential investors, and promoting Quang Binh’s destination image, cultural values, and tourism products in the Czech Republic and across Europe. He also sought support in connecting Quang Binh’s cultural, sports, and tourism sectors with major film studios and media agencies, and in implementing cultural and tourism campaigns in Europe. Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of mobilizing capital and implementing projects in science and technology, artificial intelligence, innovation, and digital transformation as part of the province’s economic breakthrough strategy aligned with the 4.0 industrial revolution.

In speeches and discussions at the Seminar, representatives of leaders of Vietnamese organizations, associations, and businesses in the Czech Republic highly appreciated the potential and advantages of the provinces and cities of Quang Binh, Bac Lieu, Vinh Long, Hue, and Phu Yen. They also shared insights into market trends and the investment aspirations of businesses in the Czech Republic and European countries.
The Quang Binh delegation also held bilateral meetings with participating organizations to explore cooperation opportunities and agreed on the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Binh and the Union of Vietnamese Associations in Europe. The MoU is scheduled to be signed during the Conference "Mobilizing the Resources of the Vietnamese Community to Strengthen Viet Nam - EU Relations" in Brussels, Belgium on June 7, 2025.

Before the Seminar, Delegations from Quang Binh and other localities met and worked with the Embassy of Viet Nam in the Czech Republic to discuss collaboration in promoting tourism, trade, and investment, and connecting strategic investors in the Czech Republic with Vietnamese localities.

From June 5 to June 8, the Quang Binh delegation will continue participating in various promotional and cooperation activities in Belgium, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant agencies, featuring many important agenda items.
