Provincial leaders paid a visit and granted gifts to social policy beneficiaries

(Quang Binh Website) - On the occasion of the 64th anniversary of War Invalids’ and Martyrs’ Day, members of the Standing Committees of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee visited and donated gifts to social policy beneficiaries credited with revolutionary service in the province on July 27.

* Delegation from the Office of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Dong Hoi city Party Committee led by Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Luong Ngoc Binh paid a visit and donated gifts to two outstanding families of social policy beneficiaries (Mr. Lai Dao, a wounded soldier in Trung Binh village, Bao Ninh commune, Dong Hoi city and Mrs. Tran Thi Sam, 94 years old, martyr's relative in Dong Son ward, Dong Hoi city) in recognition of their significant contributions to the national struggle for independence and freedom.

* Delegation from the Office of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Labour Union, the Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Quang Ninh district People's Committee led by Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoai, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to two policy families of Mr. Bui Xuan Hien, AO victim in Le Ky village, Vinh Ninh commune; Mrs. Le Thi Cuoc, a relative of martyr in Thuong village, Vo Ninh commune, Quang Ninh district.

At the visits, on behalf of the provincial leaders, the comrades expressed their deepest gratitude of the Party, State and people to all war invalids and martyrs for their great contributions to the nation’s revolutionary cause and extended their best regards to beneficiaries and families of war invalids and martyrs and hoped that they would continue to educate young generation to uphold revolutionary tradition in the cause of building and protecting the nation.
