Before that situation, the provincial People’s Committee and the Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention and Control went on an inspection of prevention and against flood and storm in localities; supervised and speeded up departments, branches and localities to continuously deploy urgent measures for prevention and against flood and storm and evacuation of residents to safe shelters, ensuring safety for people's life and property; paid a visit to flood-hit people and helped them repair damaged houses; supplied clean water for local people; deployed measures for environmental sanitation and prevention epidemic from contaminated water for human and livestock; mobilized all available resources to overcome the consequences and prepare for coping with the next disasters.
