Visit and grant gifts to especially difficult families in Quang Binh

(Quang Binh Website) - In order to share difficulties and help the families stabilize their life, the Da Nang City Police Newspaper together with the Branch of the Insurance Company under the Bank for Investment and Development has recently paid a visit and granted gifts to two families with especially difficulty condition in Quang Binh province.

These were the families of Mr. Tu Cong Tuan, a wounded soldier and an Agent Orange victim and Ms. Vo Thi Ly, a capsized ship victim on Long Dai River in Quang Ninh district on 25 March 2008. The Da Nang City Police Newspaper has collected and provided Mr.Tuan's family with a wheelchair, worth over VND1 million and VND3 million in cash; visited and donated VND500 thousand to Ms. Ly's family.

It is known that Doctor Nguyen Dinh Lieu, Chairman of the Disabled and Orphan Children Protection Association of Vietnam has just visited and presented gifts, worth VND2 million, to family of Ms. Vo Thi Ly and Ms. Vo Thi Thoai who are capsized ship victims on Long Dai river.

The families of the victims expressed their heartfelt thanks to benefactors, who felt sympathy for their struggles and hardship and were ready to give them a helping hand.
