Mr. Pham Vu Khanh, Head of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy Department paid a visit and working session with Department of Health of Quang Binh
According to the report of the Health Department, the whole province has now one traditional medicine hospital, four traditional medicine wards under the district-level hospital and 130 non-state traditional medicine treatment rooms. In 2007, the province-level hospital examined and treated for 1,040 patients and the district-level hospital was 14,044 patients. The system of private traditional medicine lured 207,371 patients for treatment and use of 245,267 medical prescriptions worth VND9 billion.
At the working, the delegation of the Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy Department discussed on the obtained results as well as difficulties of the department of traditional medicine in Quang Binh, aiming at proposing the targets and solutions to improve the quality of treatment and develop the traditional medicine of Quang Binh province.
