Bo Trach District Youth Union organizes activities to welcome five-year anniversary of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park recognized as a world natural heritage
(Quang Binh Website) - In order to welcome the 5th anniversary of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park recognized as a world natural heritage, the Bo Trach District Youth Union has organized many activities, such as volleyball tournament, camping and musical performances.
Musical performance entitled "Song of praise to Heritage area" was held on July 21 2008 at the Bo Trach District Culture and Information Center with the attendance of 25 units. More than 50 musical performances of praise to the motherland, the Party and the beloved Uncle Ho were performed ebulliently, attracting the people's attention in the whole district. The most excellent performances will be selected to show at the opening ceremony of camping festival entitled "Pride of Phong Nha - Ke Bang" held on July 25 2008 in Son Trach commune. Besides, some activities such as boat race on Son River, letting out flower garlands and coloured lanterns have been carefully prepared for the anniversary.
