"The reason that these two landscapes removed from the list of votes is that the authorities of two provinces of Lao Cai and Quang Binh have not yet officially registered and set up a New7wonders of Nature Official Supporting Committee to campaign for the vote via Internet", said the Organizers. After coming back the list of votes, these two landscapes are now ranked thirteenth and fourteenth respectively in the list of the top 77 the new7wonders of the world.

After listening to some ideas and contributions of members, Vice-chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Head of the Official Supporting Committee Tran Cong Thuat concluded: This is a good chance not only to help Phong Nha - Ke Bang become one of new7wonders of the world, but also to spread the image of the motherland and people of Quang Binh to foreign and domestic friends, contributing to promoting the propaganda and popularization for tourism potentials, calling for investment, enhancing the awareness of protection and promotion of the values of the Heritage site. Therefore, the Official Supporting Committee need to set up a detailed plan to implement the Plan No.65/KH-BVD on propagandizing, popularizing and voting for Phong Nha - Ke Bang as a world natural wonder. The Official Supporting Committee confirmed that the most important thing is now to complete the procedures for registration to send to the Organizers. Besides, the Official Supporting Committee will assign responsibilities and specific tasks for each department and unit in propagandizing, popularizing and voting for Phong Nha - Ke Bang. He said that main objects of the campaign are youths, students and pupils in the whole province. Besides, Vice-chairman Tran Cong Thuat also highly appreciated the support of the Central ministries and departments, press agencies and Quang Binh Fellow-countrymen Association in Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi and other provinces and cities in promoting work of propaganda and popularization and voting for Phong Nha - Ke Bang. he asked local press agencies to actively propagandize and vote for Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park to be one of new7naturalwonders of the world.
