The 260 TEU - NASICO ship launched
On April 19, the Quang Binh Shipbuilding Industry Joint-stock Company held a ceremony to launch the cargo-carrying vessel named 260 TEU - NASICO after twenty-six months of implementation. The 260 TEU - NASICO vessel which is capable of carrying 260 cargo containers, is invested by the Nam Trieu Maritime Transportation One-member Limited Company and built at the Quang Binh Shipbuilding Industry Joint-stock Company.

The 260 TEU - NASICO vessel has 4,822 tons in weight, 103.99m in length, 15.8m in width and 7.7m in height. The vessel has a speed of 12.5 nautical miles per hour. The 260 TEU - NASICO vessel met all of technical standards and was highly appreciated in the quality and fine arts.
After launching ceremony, the 260 TEU - NASICO vessel will be continued to carry out at Hai Phong and handed over to the owner of the Nam Trieu Maritime Transportation One-member Limited Company.
"Quang Binh is a province which has great potentials for socio-economic development and construction of infrastructures and industry parks, contributing to speed up the shift of economic structure and make full use of the province's potentials for socio-economic development in direction of industrialization and modernization", said Vice-chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Cong Thuat.
