Hon La EZ has a total natural land area of about 10,000 hectares, of which mainland are of about 8,900 hectares and island area of about 1,100 hectares, including six coastal communes of Quang Dong, Quang Phu, Quang Tung, Canh Duong, and Quang Hung and Quang Xuan of Quang Trach district. The general planning for construction of Hon La EZ is to uphold the advantages of natural condition and to make full use of land fund for construction and development of Hon La EZ into one of modern international trade centers in the North Central region.
At the meeting, delegates spent much time to discuss and contribute their ideas to perfect the general planning for construction of Hon La EZ.
Addressing the meeting, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai highly evaluated the great efforts of consultative units in building the general planning of Hon La EZ, and requested the units to be open to new ideas to perfect the planning and submit it to the appropriate authorities for approval.
