Attending the meeting was Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Quang; representatives of the Standing Committee of the provincial People's Council and Vietnamese Fatherland Fron Committee; and leaders of departments and branches and relevant localities.

The 6th session of the 16th Provincial People's Council will be expected to hold from December 3 to 7 at the meeting hall of the Office of the Provincial People’s Committee.

At the session, the provincial People's Council will discuss and adopt 18 reports, 14 statements and 14 resolutions with a focus on evaluating the implementation of socio-economic development tasks for 2012 and deploying the yearly plan for 2013.

Under the plan, delegates will contact with voters during two days (November 1-2) to inform of the agenda for the 6th session; report on implementing socio-economic development tasks for 2012, results for solving and answering questions of voters after the 5th session, collecting ideas and petitions of voters for the 6th session.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Luong Ngoc Binh stressed that "this is a regular session at the end of the year with many important contents. All departments and branches should have a close coordination to carefully prepare reports, statements and draft resolutions for the 6th session of the 16th provincial People's Council.
