The project has a total investment of US$148.8 million with two phases, of which the first phase will give an ordinary capital resource (OCR) loan of US$50.2 million and a preference loan of US$26.9 million from ADB capital; the second phase will use US$69.2 million from ADB capital and US$2.5 million from other loans and aids.
Under the plan, the proposed project will focus on investment in drainage system in Phu Hai and other areas; water supply systems and sewerages, sludge treatment and disposal in Bao Ninh; road expansion in Bao Ninh and Nhat Le stone embankments.
Duration for the project is expected to implement from 2013 to 2015.
Speaking at the working session, PPC Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai highly valued ADB's assistance in implementing the urban environment and climate change adaptation project in Dong Hoi city and affirmed the importance of the project to investment attraction and socio-economic development of the province.
