Implementing cooperation agreement between Chairman of Quang Binh provincial People's Committee and Chairman of DOHWA Group signed in Seoul (South Korea) in October of 2010, two sides have strengthened cooperation on infrastructure construction and economic development in Quang Binh.

DOHWA has accelerated the implementation progress of Quang Binh solar power supply project as scheduled plan and actively strengthened cooperation promotion with the Export-Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM) and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to seek a support for the wastewater treatment project in Kien Giang town (Le Thuy) and Quan Hau town (Quang Ninh).

Currently, DOHWA carries out a survey to implement some infrastructure projects with the funding from ODA capital of South Korea, including the wind power project in Hai Ninh commune, Quang Ninh district; the project of exploring Xa Khia gold mine in Lam Thuy commune, Le Thuy district and the project of developing and expanding Hon La port, etc.

At the meeting, two sides reviewed cooperation results in the past time and discussed solutions to effectively implement action plan in the forthcoming time.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee highly evaluated friendly and cooperation relationship between DOHWA and Quang Binh in particular, South Korea and Vietnam in general in the past time. He also stressed the importance of the projects that DOHWA Group is planning investment promotion in the province.

Vice Chairman Quang expressed his hope that DOHWA will continue providing a financial support and coordinate with KOICA and KEXIM to quickly complete the Quang Binh solar power supply project as scheduled plan.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Vice Chairman also pledged to create favorable conditions to effectively implement the projects in the province.
