Specifically, there have been 03 communes (Loc Thuy, Phong Thuy, Lien Thuy) fulfilling 19/19 criteria for a new rural area; 07 communes (Xuan Thuy, Son Thuy, An Thuy, Mai Thuy, Tan Thuy, Duong Thuy, My Thuy) fulfilling 14-18 criteria, 04 communes (Truong Thuy, Van Thuy, Phu Thuy, Hong Thuy) obtaining 10-13 criteria; 09 communes (Thanh Thuy, Cam Thuy, Sen Thuy, Hung Thuy, Hoa Thuy, Ngu Thuy Trung, Thai Thuy, Ngu Thuy Nam, Ngu Thuy Bac) gaining 05-09 criteria; 03 communes (Kim Thuy, Ngan Thuy, Lam Thuy) reaching under 05 criteria.

Over the past time, Le Thuy district has also given many supports for production development, developed business models to improve income and reduce rate of poor households according to the standards for building new rural areas. In addition, the district mobilized 8,000 households to donate land, assets and working days with a total value of over VND60 billion to build new rural areas. Specially, as estimated, total mobilized capital for building new rural areas in nine months of 2014 gained nearly VND700 billion mobilized from external resources to build new rural areas (including capital sources from provincial budget, credit, businesses, contributions of residents and other sources).
