Over VND122 billion to provided by a rural water supply and sanitation project for the districts of Le Thuy and Tuyen Hoa
Accordingly, the project will be implemented during the period of 2014-2016 with the total investment in the construction of clean water and sanitation in Tuyen Hoa district is VND69,921 million and VND53,652 million Le Thuy district.
The project will provide clean water and sanitation facilities for communes Ngan Thuy, Son Thuy, Le Ninh (Le Thuy district); Tien Hoa, Chau Hoa and Van Hoa (Tuyen Hoa district), including to support built the clean water and sanitation facilities.
The project aims at improving public health and living standards of local people in rural areas; helping the implementation of the national strategy on rural water supply and sanitation.
Reportedly, a project on rural water supply and sanitation in the central region, funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) will be carried out for some 350,000 people in six central provinces, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Nam, and Binh Dinh where the poverty levels are higher than the national average.
