More than 73,000 visitors to visit the grave of General Vo Nguyen Giap in October, 2014

Thousands of people offer flowers and incense at the General’s grave
During these days, the provincial Border Guards High Command has strengthened the guard forces surrounding the resting place of the General to ensure the safety for visitors and the absolute security at the grave of General Vo Nguyen Giap, while civil forces have been present at several spots to guide visitors. The Border Guards Headquarter, related agencies and young volunteers of Ba Don town and Quang Trach district were present at several spots in the area to carefully guide and serve visitors.
Reportedly, since the day General Vo Nguyen Giap had chosen his resting place in Vung Chua, Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district to November 1st, more than 121.463 groups with 1.397.184 unique visitors to visit burnt incense and laid wreath at the grave of General Vo Nguyen Giap to express gratitude to the General, a commander-in-chief of the Vietnam People's Army, an outstanding general of the world and a brilliant son of Quang Binh motherland.
