Oxalis Adventure Tours to be permitted to extend implementation time to explore adventure tour of Son Doong Cave Expedition in 2016
(Quang Binh Portal) - The Provincial People’s Committee on July 29 permitted Oxalis Adventure Tours to extend implementation time of the most expensive tour in Vietnam to explore the world largest cave Son Doong in 2016.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee carried out a survey of adventure tour of Son Doong Cave in July 2015
Accordingly, each tour lasts for five days and four nights with ten people at most, totaling a maximum of 500 tourists for the whole year. Visitors must pass a health test before attending the adventure tour. If not abiding safety and environmental protection regulations, cave experts and tour guides will be entitled to ask them to stop the itinerary.
In 2016, the cave will open from January - August as usual to avoid bad weather. The company is selling tours to the cave in 2016 on its website for about VND66 million (US$3,000) per person.
