In 2011-2012, the project was carried out by KOICA through ODA loans from the Export-Import Bank of Korea (Korea Eximbank) with a total investment of USD2,962,000. At present, the project is progressing to hand over technology to the Quang Binh Vocational College.
At the meeting, representative of KOICA discussed about a financial support of USD500,000 to continue implementing the project in the coming time with a focus on main activities such as training teacher staff, improving ability to approach and use technological equipment, supplying some equipment, managing and contacting with students after graduation.
In addition, KOICA also offered the Provincial People's Committee and functional agencies to facilitate the project in implementing import-export procedures, labour license for foreigners, custom procedures...
On behalf of provincial leader, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated assistance of South Korea in general and KOICA in particular for Quang Binh province in the past time.
In the forthcoming time, he pledged the province would create favorable conditions for the project to implement effectively.
