Begin construction of Chau Hoa Bridge

(Quang Binh Website) - On January 5 2009, the Department of Transportation held a groundbreaking ceremony of building Chau Hoa Bridge (Tuyen Hoa district) cross the Gianh River. Attending the ceremony were Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Lam Phuong, Vice-chairmen together with leader of departments and branches at provincial level.

Chau Hoa Bridge has 309m in length, including 9 bridge spans with the length of 33m and 8m in breadth. It is designed by the Quang Binh Construction and Consultancy Joint-stock Company and executed by the Civil Engineering Construction Joint-stock Company No.525 and the Trading and Construction Joint-stock Company No.343. The bridge has the total investment capital of VND65 billion from the government bond capital source. It is expected to complete after 14 months.

The construction of Chau Hoa bridge cross the Gianh River has a great significance, not only creating favorable condition for the people's traveling in the communes of Chau Hoa, Cao Quang, Mai Hoa and Tien Hoa... but also contributing to promoting the socio-economic development in highland areas, and transportation for the cement plants in Tuyen Hoa districts.
