Monthly minimum salary for state employees to increase from May 1
(Quang Binh Website) - Starting from May 1, the monthly minimum salary for civil servants and those who work for state-owned enterprises in Vietnam will increase to VND650,000 ($37) from VND540,000 ($31), according to the Government’s decree issued on April 6.
The new salary will be applied to state-owned agencies, armed forces, political and socio-political organizations and non-productive units; and employees of enterprises established under the Law on State-owned Enterprises, and one-member limited liability companies wholly owned by the State.
