The provincial People's Council carried out to select new members for the 15th provincial People’s Committee. Mr Le Ding Huan, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Quang Ninh district People's Committee, Mrs Nguyen Thi Hong, Vice-chairman of the provincial Women Union and other three members were selected as fresh members. Mr Le Cong Cuoc, Director of the Finance Department was appointed to a member of the Provincial People's Committee for the period of 2004-2011.
On July 17, the provincial People's Council entered its final working day.
