4th session of 17th Provincial People’s Council opens
The session was attended by members of the National Assembly, leaders of the Party, authority and provincial fatherland front, deputies of PPC and representatives of provincial-level agencies and unions, districts and city and voters.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Council delivers the session opening speech
Delivering the session opening speech, Chairman of PPC Hoang Dang Quang stressed the importance of the year-end session to the province's socio-economic development. In order to complete the session's agenda, Chairman asked all deputies of PPC to raise the spirit of responsibility to the People and voters, focus on solving problems to have timely solutions, mobilise all resources, promote economic growth, maintain political stability and ensure social order and safety.
In addition, Chairman of PPC also requested that the Provincial People's Committee, agencies and localities need enhance the spirit of responsibility in answering questions and petitions of deputies, gradually meeting the belief and expectations of voters in the province.
At the session, the PPC will hear 12 reports and 11 statements on implementation of socio-economic development task in 2016, the plan for socio-economic development in 2017; operational results of the PPC, People's Court and People's Procuracy; implementation of State budget tasks in 2016 and estimates of State budget in 2017; collection of voters' opinions and recommendations before the 4th session of the 17th Provinical People's Council, etc.
On the first working day, deputies of PPC also discussed on implementation of Resolution of the PPC in 2016; orientations, tasks, goals and targets of socio-economic development, national defence and security in 2017; operational result of PPC in 2016 and orientations, tasks in 2017.
Under the plan, the 4th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council will be held from December 6th to 8th. Quang Binh Television will live broadcast the session. Quang Binh Portal will continue updating the lastest news during the session for readers and voters.
