Chairman of the Provincial People's Council deliveres an opening speech at the session

Speaking at the opening session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Hoang Dang Quang stressed that this session's main tasks are to focus on evaluating socio-economic situation of the province in the first six months of 2017, analyzing weaknesses and shortcomings, drawing lessions and experience in direction and management; proposing practical and drastic measures to solve difficulties and promote socio-economic development of the province in the remaining months of 2017.

In order to complete the session's agenda, Chairman asked all deputies of PPC to raise the spirit of responsibility to the People and voters; the Provincial People's Committee, agencies and localities to enhance the spirit of responsibility in answering questions and petitions of deputies, gradually meeting the belief and expectations of voters in the province.

At the session, the PPC will listen to reports and statements on implementation of socio-economic development task in in the first six months and main tasks in the second six months of 2017 presented by the Provincial People's Council; the operational results the Provincial People's Court and People's Procuracy in the first six months of 2017; the report of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee on voters' opinions and recommendations before the 5th session of the 17th Provinical People's Council, etc.

On the first working day, the Provincial People's Council will implement an additional election of the Provincial People's Committee's member for the 2016-2021 tenure.

Under the plan, the 5th session of the 17th Provincial People's Committee will last until July 13th. Quang Binh Television will live broadcast the session. Quang Binh Portal will continue updating the lastest news during the session for readers and voters.
