1,750 tons of rice granted to poor people in Quang Binh
(Quang Binh Website) - The Prime Minister has recently directed the Ministry of Finance to grant 3,745 tons of rice from the National Reserves free of charge to support poor people in three provinces of Quang Binh, Son La and Thanh Hoa during the between-crop period of 2013.
Accordingly, the rice will be distributed to Quang Binh (1,750 tonnes), Son La (532 tonnes) and Thanh Hoa (1,463 tonnes).
The Prime Minister has also asked the People’s Committees of Quang Binh, Son La and Thanh Hoa provinces to use the rice wisely and quickly distribute the rice to needy people.
Earlier, the Prime Minister also assigned the Ministry of Finance to grant 1,371 tonnes of rice from the national reserves free of charge to two provinces of Lang Son and Dien Bien to support poor people during the between-crop period in 2013.
