Present at the ceremony were Mr. Hoang Dang Quang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party’s Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee together with representatives of departments and branches, among others.

At the incense-offering ceremony, provincial leaders struck the bell, laid a wreath, offered incense and observed a minute of silence in tribute to heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of independence and liberation of the fatherland.

After the ceremony, provincial leaders and others burnt incense at martyrs’ tombs to express their gratitute.

This is an annual meaningful activity of provincial authorities, upholding the national tradition of “when drinking water, remember its source” and expressing their deep gratitude to heroic martyrs who laid down their life for the independence and freedom of the motherland.
