Vice Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People’s Committee introduces about tourism potential of Quang Binh province

At the reception, Canada Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Vietnam said that the goal of his working visit to Quang Binh this time is to learn about operation of MAG Quang Binh project to evaluate the effeciency of investment. Besides, the Ambassador also introduced about advantages of Canada and key cooperation projects between Canada and other countries in the world and Vietnam and expressed his hope to seek more opportunities for investment in the province.

Speaking at the reception, Vice Chairman Tran Tien Dung thanked Ambassador David Devine and the government of Canada for assistance in implememtation of MAG Quang Binh project during the past time. He stressed that over the past time, MAG Quang Binh project has helped local people feel more safety in production development after being landmine and unexploded ordnance (UXO) clearance.

Vice Chairman had also a general introduction about natural conditions, potential and prospects for tourism devvelopment, saying that the province still meets a lot of difficulties, especially landmine and UXO clearance, thus the province desired that the Government of Canada will strengthen its more supports and cooperation with the province in implementation of the projects in the coming time, especially in the fields of education and trade.
