Industrial production value rose 9.2% against the same period last year
Specifically, industrial production value was estimated to reach VND9,791 billion, grew by 9.2% against the same period last year; index of industrial production increased by 8.4%, of which the mining grew by 6.5%, the processing and manufacturing increased 8.6%, the electricity power generation and distribution went up to 5.6%; the water supply and sewage treatment rose 4.9%.
Some major products have seen a high increase in comparison with the same period last year. Concretely, shirt grew by 21.4%, kaolin went up to 14.2%, building stone rose 6.5%, cavassa increased 6.3%, cement and clinker rose 5.4%, running water climbed to 5.4%, trade electricity rose 4%, bottled beer went up to 0.5% from the same period last year.
In 2017, the industrial sector will continue to maintain the high growth rate, promote the existing capacity of the large-sized industrial production facilities such as Gianh river cement, Van Hoa cement, Ha Quang garment, wood processing plants, etc, striving to reach industrial production value of VND10,720 billion, up 9.5% and index of industrial production by 8.5%.
