Zhishan Foundation adds 68 scholarships to help outstanding and poor pupils in Quang Binh
(Quang Binh Portal) – The Provincial Children Sponsoring Fund in coordination with Zhishan Foundation of Taiwan in Vietnam has recently carried out a survey to supplement 68 scholarships to help outstanding and poor children in Quang Binh province.

Among 68 scholarships, 32 scholarships are given to poor pupils in Dong Hoi city and 36 are given to poor pupils in Quang Ninh district.
The scholarships funded by Zhishan Foundation have been granted to pupils who have especially difficult circumstances in Quang Binh province over the past ten years.
Currently, 793 pupils are benefited from the project with a total expenditure of over VND1.7 billion in 2015.
The project gives a long-term financial support to poor pupils from primary level to college and university levels.
The support depends on studying levels with an average of VND3.1 million a year for each pupil.
