On January 1, at Dong Hoi Airport (Quang Binh province), the Department of Tourism welcomed the first group of tourists to the province by air in 2025.

Flight VN1404 of Vietnam Airlines departed from Tan Son Nhat airport, Ho Chi Minh City and landed at Dong Hoi airport on the morning of January 1.

The flight had 80 passengers, including 4 international tourists from Taiwan (China) and South Korea.

Participating in welcoming the delegation, representatives of the Department of Tourism, Tourism Promotion Information Center, Tourism Association and representatives of Dong Hoi Airport presented flowers and congratulated the passengers and crew.

In 2025, Quang Binh tourism industry aims to reach 5.5 million tourists, including more than 5.3 million domestic tourists and 160,000 international tourists, with total revenue from tourists of 6,325 billion VND.
