A new species of snake discovered in Phong Nha - Ke Bang
(Quang Binh Website) - The scientists have recently discovered a new species of snake, scientifically called Fimbrios in the world’s heritage site of Phong Nha-Ke Bang, Quang Binh province.
The Management Board of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park said that the scientists of the Cologne Zoo of German, the French Museum of Natural History and the Institute of Ecology and Biological Resources (IEBR) of Vietnam found this snake after a year of discovery.
Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park is one of places that have a lot of reptiles and amphibians newly found the most in the past years in Vietnam.
