Award scholarships to outstanding but poor teenagers in Quang Trach district
(Quang Binh Website) - The Study Promotion Society of Quang Trach district in coordination with the District Youth Union held a ceremony to grant 85 scholarships to poor teenagers who studied well in the school year of 2008-2009.
This was an activity to respond the campaign "For outstanding but poor youths" and "Help friends to school" launched by the Provincial Youth Union in order to share difficulties, praise achievements and encourage poor teenagers in gaining excellent achievements in studying. Each scholarship was worth at 300,000 VND, of which the District People's Committee granted 35 scholarships, the District Youth Union 35 scholarships and Quang Trach High School No.2 15 scholarships.
