Launching ceremony to raise fund ''For the poor'' 2009
The fund-raising ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoai, Standing Vice-chairman of the provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hieu, Vice-chairman of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Binh province together with units, collectives and individuals in the province.

Individuals and units donate to Fund "For the poor" 2009 |
At the ceremony, units, individuals and enterprises collected a donation of over VND700 million to the Fund "For the poor". This was a meaningful activity, contributing to improving the life for poor households in the whole province.
Addressing the ceremony, Permanent Vice-chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Hoai acknowledged the results that the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee obtained in the past time, and asked agencies and units to continuously bring into play the tradition of solidarity and mutual affection, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life for local people and helping disadvantaged families overcome and escape poverty.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee granted Certificate of Merit to nine units; the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee awarded Certificate of Merit to eleven units for their excellent achievements in implementing the Campaign "Day for the poor" from 2006 to 2009.
