GTZ organised Biodiversity Action Day in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park

On June 02, in the framework of the International Year of Biodiversity and World Oceans Day and in response of the Sea and Island Festival held in Quang Binh (04-06 of June), the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) organised an outdoor activity for more than 100 secondary students of communes in the bufferzone of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park to mark the Biodiversity Action Day.

More than 100 students of Phu Dinh, Phuc Trach and Son Trach communes were taught about the importance of species on the green planet.

After this useful activity, GTZ hopes that these over 100 students will communicate the importance of species and bio-diversity in the life to local people, contributing to propagandizing the protection of natural environment.

GTZ also held a sand painting contest about environment for students to improve their awareness of conservation of species, contributing to preserving our green planet.
