GTZ trains tourist management skills for guides

(Quang Binh Website) – From June 6 to 9, 2010, at the Cultural and Ecological Tourist Center, the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) opened a training course on tourist management skills for 40 guides of the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. This is a new special subject for guides in the application of tourist management skills into the cavern system in the world.

In the past time, GTZ assisted the Cultural and Ecological Tourist Center in moving the staffs to the Mulu National Park (Malaysia) to learn experience in tourist management skills, design of electric system and pathway in the cave… in order to effectively exploit the values of the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park.

A training course was taught by foreign and domestic experts. After this training course, the cadres, guides and managers of the Cultural and Ecological Tourist Center will step by step apply experience into the life in management and use of cavern resources for tourist services.
