The project of Trung Quan Bridge spans Kien Giang River connecting two communes of Duy Ninh and Tan Ninh, Quang Ninh district (Quang Binh). The project has a total length of 2.773 m, including road and bridge, of which the Trung Quan bridge has the length of 371m and width of 9 m with a total investment of VND90 billion. This construction is carried out by the Railways Works Joint-stock Company and the Tuong Minh Construction Consultancy Company Limited within three years (from 2010 to 2012).

Once to be operational, the Trung Quan bridge will contribute to promoting the socio-economic development of Quang Ninh district in particular and Quang Binh in general; meeting the people’s demand for traveling of local people, creating a premise to develop tourism in Bao Ninh sandy region – Vo Ninh commune.

Addressing the groundbreaking ceremony, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai asked related departments and branches to try their best to complete the assigned duties, contributing to accelerating the project implementation progress, quickly putting the Trung Quang Bridge into operation, meeting the demand for traveling of local people and promoting the socio-economic development in the provincial area.
