Present in the exchange were leaders of related departments and branches and some businesses in the province; representatives of the governments and departments together with some businesses from 22 provinces of the northeastern Thailand.

At the exchange, two sides briefed on potentials and investment opportunities of each locality and discussed the plan to organize the Quang Binh's investment promotion program in the northeastern Thailand with the theme "Association between Northeastern Thailand and Quang Binh". It is expected to be held in November of 2011.

Through the exchange, Thailand investors hoped to cooperate with Quang Binh province in exploiting the road No.12A connecting the northeastern Thailand with Quang Binh province.

In future, two sides also committed that they will cooperate to develop tourism, goods transport services, agriculture and fishery.
