Quang Binh province to provide safe water to 90% of population
The central province of Quang Binh has created a general plan to provide clean water and environmental hygiene by 2020 worth VND 2.4 trillion, with a target of 100 litres of safe water per person per day for 90% of the province’s population.
From now until 2015, Quang Binh province will build 67 projects to give safe water to disadvantaged and poor communes while accelerating safe water constructions in towns and tourism sites.
Under the planning, 90% of pastoral farmers have hygienic breeding grounds and waste gathering constructions at home and in public places. All public constructions such as kindergartens, medical stations, post offices and markets will be provided with clean water.
