The conference was attended by Mr Tran Dinh Dinh, Chairman of the Dong Hoi City People's Committee; Mr Hoang Nhat, Chairman of the City People's Council and representatives of press agencies.

At the press conference, Chairman Tran Dinh Dinh informed about contents and preparations for the Dong Hoi Culture and Tourism Week 2012. Accordingly, the main activities will include music performance, female volleyball tournament, gastronomy festival and traditional festivals such as boat racing, Cau Ngu (fish praying), "cheo can" performance and bong (flower) dance, especially, street parade - a new activity of this year.

The Dong Hoi Culture and Tourism Week 2012 is not only an important event to introduce the image, cultural values, landscapes and friendly and hospitable people of Quang Binh province but also contributes to preserve traditional culture, promote tourism and improve socio-economic development.
