With the theme, "Vietnam Beauty Confluence", the Vietnam Beauty Festival 2012 is expected to hold in Quang Binh from August 22-29. The festival will attract the participation of 50 beauties from the Miss Vietnam, Miss World and Miss Universe contests.

As part of the festival, a series of activities will be also hosted, including the requiem ceremony at Tam Co Cave, the incense-offering ceremony at Truong Son Martyrs Cemetery; charitable activities; discovery of Thien Duong Cave and a party on the beach, especially a gala night which will be taken place on the night of December 29 at Quang Binh Sun Spa Resort and will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television.

This is a significant cultural event to respect the cultural values and the hidden charm of Vietnam women and popularize tourism potentials and people of Quang Binh, especially famous tourist sites such as Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park and Thien Duong Cave.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai highly valued the initiative of the Family and Society Newspaper for organization of Vietnam Beauty Festival 2012 in Quang Binh.

Chairman Hoai said that the province will create the best conditions to successfully organize this event to contribute to promoting Quang Binh tourism and make a good impression on foreign and domestic tourists.
