The talk was attended by Mr. Sarawasi Noppadon, Standing Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Trade of Thailand and Mr. Tran Tien Dung, Vice Chairman of Quang Binh provincial People’s Committee (Vietnam).

The talk drew the participation of businesses from 17 northern provinces of Thailand and nearly 40 businesses representing for over 3,100 businesses in the province.

Quang Binh is a province which has a lot of potentials for comprehensive economic development and is known as an attractive destination for foreign and domestic investors. In recent years, the number of projects and investors to Quang Binh has sharply increased. The talk is a good opportunity for businesses of Quang Binh and Thailand to better learn about the potentials and promote cooperation in trade activities and tourism development, contributing to boosting a long-time cooperation relationship.

Speaking at the talk, Vice Chairman Tran Tien Dung stressed that the talk is a chance for neighboring countries to cooperate, exchange and expand their trade activities, ontributing to preparing for the establishment of the 2015-ASEAN economic community and better strengthening mutual understanding between countries.

Through this talk, he expressed his hope that this will contribute to promote and expand cooperation in trade, investment, science and technology, tourism and culture between businesses of Vietnam and Thailand, especially businesses of the northern provinces of Thailand and Quang Binh province.

Vice Chairman affirmed that Quang Binh province is ready to welcome and create the best conditions for Thai businesses to invest in the province’s advantaged fields.
