At the reception, there were Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoai, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Quang, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee together with representatives of relevant departments and branches.

Two sides spent more time on discussing the implementation of the running water supply project in Quang Trach district. This is the ODA project funded by the Hungarian government with a total of EUR18,953,000. As estimated, the project will be started construction in January of 2013.

Addressing the working session, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai expressed his gratitude to the support from the Hungarian government for the running water supply project in Quang Trach district and stressed the great importance of the project to local socio-economic development.

In order to achieve a good result, Chairman hoped that Hungarian ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Vietnam will create favorable conditions to implement the second phase of the project. He also expressed his desire that Hungarian government will assist the province in implementing hungry elimination and poverty reduction and improving management capacity for the women in order to promote comprehensive development of workforces in the province.

Hungarian ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Vietnam thanked for a warmly reception and emphasized that Hungarian government is interested in the ongoing projects in Vietnam in general and Quang Binh in particular, especially the projects of running water supply.

The ambassador also promised that the Hungarian government will create the best conditions to effectively implement the running water supply project in Quang Trach district and promote the projects, bringing practical benefits to the people of Quang Binh.
