The delegation, which represents millions of Vietnamese living abroad, is in Vietnam to attend the commemoration of the legendary nation founders Hung Kings and the Hung Kings Temple Festival 2014.

On behalf of provinical leader, Deputy Chairman of PPC Tran Tien Dung informed of the achievements gained by the Party, authority and people of Quang Binh province in the past time and orientations for socio-economic development in the coming time.

Deputy Chairman also sent his sincere thanks to OVs for their assistance to Quang Binh people in the recent years, especially assistance in overcoming heavy consequences caused by the storm No.10 in 2013.

He expressed his hope that OVs will continue joining hands to build and develop the motherland.

Earlier, the OVs delegation offered incense in tribute to General Vo Nguyen Giap at his grave in Vung Chua - Yen Island, Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province.

As scheduled, from April 15-28, they will visit and present gifts to officers, soldiers and people in Truong Sa Archipelago and join a requiem to commemorate Vietnamese soldiers and people who laid down their lives protecting the country’s sea and island sovereignty.
