Cha Lo International Border Gate EZ attracts 20 investment projects
Besides, import-export activities via Cha Lo International Border Gate EZ have developed, contributing to development of economy, services, tourism and business of Quang Binh province with neighboring countries.
Concretely, import-export turnover in 2011-2015 period achieved about USD5,845 million, of which export reached USD575 million; import, transit and non-trade reached USD5,270 million.
Main import-export commodities included woods, plaster, fruits, agricultural products (cavassa, maize, rice), minerals, comsumer goods and building materials.
The number of people for exit and entry reached 2,070,000 and vehicles reached 340,000. A total of import-export goods reached 8,400,000 tons, of which export 1,620,000 tons and import 6,780,000 tons. State budget revenues reached VND1,042 billion.
Investment and development of Cha Lo International Border Gate EZ is to promote the potentials and advantages of the locality, expand and strengthen economic relations and friendship between Viet-Lao nations.
