Number of tourists to the World Heritage Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park increased by 8.0% from the same period last year.

Of tourists, international arrivals in July were estimated to reach 5.1 thousand, rose by 6.3% from last month and rose by 16.5% from the same period last year, and estimated to reach 34.5 thousand tourists, rose by 16.1% from the same period last year.

Specially, passenger carriages in July were estimated to reach 104.800 tourists in July and reach 477.5 thousand tourists in seven months of this year, rose by 7.2% from the same period last year.

Total tourism revenues were expected to reach over VND1,94,4 billion, rose by 19.9% from the same period last year, of which revenues from hotel were an estimation of over VND98.2 billion, rose by 5.0%; revenues from restaurants were an estimation of VND953.6 billion, rose by 15.6%; revenues from tourism were an estimation of VND121.7 billion, rose by 100.5% from the same period last year...

This is a breakthrough in tourism, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, developing other industries, shifting economic structure towards increasing density of services in GDP in association with poverty alleviation for the community.
