Participants included representatives of departments and branches, press agencies in the province, provincial-based representative offices and press reporters.

According to the plan, a conference on investment promotion and tourism popularization of Quang Binh province will be held in Sun Spa Resort Bao Ninh, Dong Hoi City on August 8 afternoon.

The conference is an opportunity to introduce and popularise the province’s potential and advantages, key projects calling for investment and investment incentives fields to domestic and foreign investors.

In addition, the event also provides for potential investors information on mechanism and policies for investment attraction of the province, contributing to luring investors to seek investment in key projects, especially infrastructure projects in tourism.

At the coference, Quang Binh province will also grant certificate of investment for the projects and sign agreements on credit support and cooperative agreements with investors.

Especially, a ceremony to receive UNESCO’s certificate for 2nd recognition of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park as a world natural heritage and an opening ceremony of Quang Binh Cave Festival will be taken place at the province’s Cultural Center.

The program will live broadcast on Quang Binh Television at 20:00 pm on August 14, 2015.

This is an opportunity to introduce and spread values of natural resources, potential, images and tourism as well as world natural heritage, Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, especially unique values of cave system, helping to attract investors and tourists inside and outside the country to Quang Binh, contributing to promoting the province’s socio-economic development.

The highlight of Quang Binh Cave Festival is the “Quang Binh Spectacular Cave System Discovery Week”, which will be launched from August 14 – 20, 2015 with a series of diverse activities such as the opening of new tourist routes and tours, promotions and tourist discounts and farm trips. Within the framework of the festival, food and handicraft fairs will be held in Bao Ninh commune, Dong Hoi city.

At the conference, representatives of related agencies also directly answered questions involved of press reporters.

Chief of the Secretariat Truong An Ninh, a spokenman of the Provincial People’s Committee expressed his hope that press agencies would closely coordinate with related agencies to propagandize on conference on investment promotion and tourism popularization, a certificate-receiving ceremony of UNESCO for 2nd recognition of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park as a world natural heritage and Quang Binh Cave Festival, aiming at attracting potential investors and promoting socio-economic development in the province.
