Receiving the Lao delegation were Standing Vice Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Quang, representatives of Departments of Planning and Investment, Industry and Trade, Transport and Foreign Affairs; the Provincial Management Board of Economic Zones and the Office of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of Phongsavanh Group expressed his delight to warm reception of the provincial leader and informed of achievements made by Phongsavanh Group in the past time. He also hoped to boost cooperation in transport, particularly investment in construction of Hon La port.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee applauded Phongsavanh Group to seek investment opportunities in Hon La port. He briefly informed of the province's socio-economic situation, investment opportunities, especially orientations for investment in tourism, industrial production and minerals.

Standing Vice Chairman also highlighted potentials and investment opportunities in Hon La port.

On behalf of provincial leader, he pledged to create favorable conditions for Phongsavanh Group to effectively carry out the projects in Hon La port.

Earlier, Laos' Phongsavanh Group carried out a field survey at Hon La Port in the morning of September 25.
