New cave discovered in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park
(Quang Binh Portal) - According to information from the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park Management Board, after receiving the information from a local man on the discovery of a new cave in Cha Noi forest inside Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park Management Board has carried out a field survey to vertify the information on October 3.

Accordingly, it is reported that the new cave is located in an area called Na Choi, about a two hour walk from the Ho Chi Minh trail. This is a pristine cave and has no trace left by humans. The cave door is around 2.5m high, 9 meters wide and 150 meters long. The cave inside is high and wide, containing several large and primitive stalactites.
At present, the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park Management Board assigned the Cha Noi forest management station in coordination with functional forces and local authorities to strengthen management and protection of new cave.
