Chairman of the Provincial People's Council delivers his speech at the 16th session

Attending the session was provincial national assembly deputies, leaders of the Party and authorities, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, delegates of the Provincial People's Council and representatives of voters in the province.

Opening the session, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Luong Ngoc Binh emphasized that this is the final session of the year to review implementation of the set targets in the past tenure. Though facing with a lot of difficulties, however, with the efforts of the political system and community, the socio-economic situation of the province have achieved important results in 2015.

For a successful session, PPC Chairman asked PPC members to raise high the spirit of responsibility before voters, promote intellectual, uphold democracy, focus on researching, discussing and contributing quality ideas to the session. PPC deputies should honestly and objectively assess the implementation of the provincial socio-economic development tasks in 2015, analyze and clarify limitations and weaknesses, define responsibilities of each level and sector, find out the causes, draw the moral from direction and administration, and work out more efficient and drastic measures for 2016, the first year of the five-year period for realizing resolutions of the 16th Provincial Party Congress and the 12th National Party Congress.

Deputies attend the 16th session of the 16th PPC

During the first working day, the PPC deputies heard 10 reports and 12 statements on implemenation of socio-economic development tasks in 2015, the plan of 2016 and the five-year plan (2016-2020) of the Provincial People's Committee; reports on operational results in 2015 of the PPC, People's Court and People's Procuracy; report of the Standing Board of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee on collecting voters' opinions and suggestions before the 16th session of 16th PPC; report of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation on results of the 10th session of the 13th tenure National Assembly; verification report of the PPC's Board and etc.
